NoB on fridays
Friday evening with the NOB is an emotional occasion. At the Centre for Fine Arts, Music Director Walter Weller and Principal Guest Conductor Stefan Blunier, among others, join forces with an array of dream soloists to present lyricism, passion, and bravura. Pure symphonic magic, in other words. Beethoven occupies centre stage, but these superb programmes also include music by Mahler, Shostakovich, Brahms, Dvořák.
